Scouts went to Dunboyne Den for an overnight on Friday 7th March 2014 to use their pioneering facilities.  Lots of skills were practised and lots of fun was had as they made a catapult and used water balloons as their weapons.

Scouts Hike 23rd March 2014 from Howth Head to the Summit.
We had 13 Scouters today and started off our Hike from Howth @ 11.30am.   It was our first hike of the year and were blessed with a lovely sunny fresh day where we met many people and their dogs out for a walk.  We had lunch in a quiet cove all to ourselves where the boys practised their skimming skills.    Sean and Ciaran were very eager and led us the whole way back to the bus.   All went well and we got back to Kells at 3.45pm a little earlier than expected.  Here’s to our next bigger and longer hike – possibly one of the four peaks Lugnaquilla or Slieve Donnard to start with.
